PIMC as intelligent component coating
We offer you the innovative component coating for your components: Powder In-Mould Coating (PIMC). It combines the improvement of surface quality (compared to uncoated or coated components) with an efficient production method.
If your components are subjected to increased external exposure over a longer period of time, this coating will pay off for you. A coated component using the PIMC process is convincing thanks to a significant surface improvement in terms of mechanical impact (scratch resistance) as well as weathering and UV resistance, chemicals and graffiti.
In terms of color, PIMC offers a wide spectrum, as almost all RAL colors can be used. In addition, special applications such as high gloss, multicolor, metallic granite effects and fire retardancy are also possible.
Our goal is lean processes. Compared to the wet paint process, the downstream step of coating is omitted. Thus, in addition to improving surface properties, this process can also save time and costs for organizing transport to the paint shop or appropriate paint rooms.
